The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with lots of advice about the area. The room was well-equipped and very comfortable, with a nice shower pressure. The location was convenient for exploring Rotorua. We also appreciated the outdoor space for relaxing with a drink. Additionally, the room exceeded our expectations and was even nicer than the photos.
We felt well looked after during our stay, as the hosts were attentive and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

During my recent business trip to Rotorua, my director chose Sleepout Hideaway as our accommodation. The location of this hotel is definitely a highlight, being just 2.1 km away from the Polynesian Spa. It provided easy access to this popular attraction and ensured a convenient stay for me.
I must admit, my experience at Sleepout Hideaway had a minor drawback.

I was really happy with the value for money at Sleepout Hideaway. The room was cute, modern, and super clean, and the comfiest bed I've had during my travels in NZ. The location was quiet and secluded, yet still convenient with a bus stop just a minute's walk away. The staff, especially Richmond, were friendly and helpful, offering recommendations and even changing our flat tire.
Breakfast delights were missing a stovetop for cooking.

The apartment was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a budget traveler like me. I loved the fully equipped kitchenette, which allowed me to cook my own meals and save money. The bed linen and towels provided were clean and fresh, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. The flat-screen TV was a nice addition, great for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The patio with pool views was an absolute treat, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but it might not bother others.

We had a bit of trouble finding the place as there were no signs to guide us, but once we arrived, we were actually surprised. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Waipa mtb, Reedwoods, and the Whaka 100 event races. The room was tidy and clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The hosts were friendly and supportive, offering us tools to fix our bike and allowing us to use their BBQ and pool. The internet connection was also reliable. I'd recommend this place despite the minor hiccups we encountered.

This little gem was worth every penny! The room was adorable, modern, and spotlessly clean - and the bed was the comfiest one we've found in all of NZ! The location was peaceful and secluded, yet still convenient with a short bus ride to the center. The hosts were friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond to help us when we had a flat tire. Highly recommended for a perfect stay in a relaxing and well-equipped apartment.
Breakfast choices could have been better - maybe adding some more variety to the options would have made it more fun.

I stayed at a great apartment in Rotorua for a perfect holiday. The hosts, a lovely young family, were very nice and helpful. They even helped me when I had a punctured tyre, which I am very grateful for. The apartment had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent, close to the mountain bike trails and other shops. The apartment was clean and tidy with a good shower and internet connection. I also appreciated the treats left for me and the good quality linen and towels. I highly recommend this place for a perfect stay.
I recommend this hotel.

This peaceful hotel is conveniently close to everything, allowing guests to easily explore the surrounding area. The fully equipped bungalow provides a private bathroom and kitchenette, along with a special welcome gift from the owners. Additionally, guests will enjoy the convenience of private parking and the nearby bakery for a delicious start to the day. The quiet evenings create a relaxing atmosphere, with the soothing sounds of birds and crickets.
Some guests have mentioned a lack of privacy due to the thin tarp screen dividing the area, and a few minor inconveniences such as operating the TV from a phone and the need for a TV Ariel.
